Men's Golf Ranked 12th In Golf World Preseason Poll

The USC men's golf team is ranked 12th in the 2004-2005 Golf World preseason College Coaches Poll, which ranks 25 men's teams.The Trojans received 245 points in the poll. Georgia is the No. 1 team (430), while Florida and Georgia Tech are tied for second (425). Arizona is a distant fourth with 370 points.USC advanced to the NCAA Championships last season and finished tied for 16th.The Trojans return seniors Ben Hayes and Nico Bollini, juniors Taylor Wood, Tyler Ley and Bradley Shaw, sophomore Joshua Wooding, while another sophomore--Jordan Nasser--is a transfer from Pepperdine.USC tees off its season at the Carpet Capital Collegiate in Rocky Face, GA, on Sept. 17.
