The WASHINGTON Huskies and OREGON Ducks are the only Pac-10 squads to remain unbeaten... ARIZONA bounced back, posting back-to-back wins over a pair of Top-25 opponents in capturing the Four Points University Plaza Wildcat Classic... USC looks to start a new streak after falling at Illinois, which ended the school's NCAA record 52-match winning streak... This will be the final week of preparation before Pac-10 play begins the following week... Here's this week's schedule (all times local to site):

ARIZONA - Junior OH Jennifer Abernathy was named MVP of the Four Points University Plaza Wildcat Classic. In three matches, she collected 50 kills (5.00 kpg) and 25 digs (2.50 dpg)... Sophomore OH Meghan Cumpston posted a career-high 23 kills in the win over No. 18 Louisville. Cumpston has posted 113 kills this season in 25 games (4.52 kpg). She recorded 61 kills in 46 games (1.33 kpg) all of last season... The next Arizona victory will give coach David Rubio his 350th career win.
ARIZONA STATE - A pair of freshmen garnered all-tournament honors at the Wyndham Buttes Volleyball Classic. In three matches, setter Rachel Mittelstaedt tallied 118 assists (11.80 apg), 19 digs (1.90 dpg) and 10 blocks (1.00 bpg), while libero Sydney Donahue collected 45 digs (4.50 dpg)... Freshman MB Colette Meek leads the Sun Devils in attack percentage, hitting .383, while tallying 45 kills (2.37 kpg) on 94 attempts with just nine errors... The Sun Devils take on their first ranked opponent this season, traveling to No. 23 Long Beach State.
CALIFORNIA - The Golden Bears had their streak of consecutive victories in in-season tournaments snapped at 18 with the loss to UC Santa Barbara... Freshman OH Angie Pressey has been impressive in filling the void left by All-American Mia Jerkov. Pressey leads the Bears with 3.91 kpg, followed by senior OH Gabrielle Abernathy (3.44 kpg) and junior MH Alicia Powers (3.06 kpg)... With 339 career total blocks, senior MH Camille Leffall needs 12 total blocks to move into fifth on the school's all-time list.
OREGON - The Ducks have won six straight to open the season. Prior to this season, Oregon had won seven matches over the previous 49 matches... Senior RS Lauren Westendorf continues to pile up the numbers. In eight matches, she's recorded 145 kills (4.83 kpg). She's posted double digit kill totals in each of the eight matches played this year... For the second consecutive week, Westendorf earned Tournament MVP, collecting the honors at the Portland State Tournament. Sophomore setter Heather Madison was named all-tournament after dishing out 165 assists in 15 games (11.00 apg).
OREGON STATE - Senior OH Allison Lawrence needs 34 kills to reach 1,000 for her career, becoming the 10th Beaver all-time to reach that milestone... Freshman libero Nina Baltimore leads the squad with 72 digs (3.00 dpg)... Sophomore MB Brittany Cahoon was named MVP of the Salbasgeon Suites Invitational. In three matches, She posted 40 kills, including a career-high 19 against Saint Mary's, and 11 blocks. Cahoon hit .472 (19 kills on 36 attempts with two errors) against Saint Mary's.
STANFORD - The Cardinal hit a season-high .406 in their win over San Francisco. Senior OH Ogonna Nnamani paced the attack with 14 kills on 29 attempts with no errors (.483)... In three matches of the Stanford Invitational, sophomore MB Liz Suiter hit .481, collecting 13 kills on 27 attempts with no errors. She also added 18 blocks (1.63 bpg) to increase her team leading total to 39 (1.56 bpg). After opening the season with a pair of hitting errors against Utah State, Suiter has put together a string of five error-free matches.
UCLA - The Bruins had their six-match winning streak snapped at No. 11 Hawaii in a five-game thriller to the Rainbow Wahine... The six-game winning streak to open the season was the best start for the Bruins since opening the 1993 season by winning their first 21 matches... Senior MB Brynn Murphy needs 26 kills to reach 1,000 for her career... Senior L Chrissie Zartman needs 12 digs to become the sixth player in Pac-10 history to reach 1,500 career digs... Against Hawaii, Zartman became just the sixth player in UCLA history to record 30 digs in a single match... Sophomore MB Nana Meriwether's 14 blocks against Southwest Missouri State tied the UCLA record for a three-game match... Zartman and Meriwether were both named to the All-Tournament Team at the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Volleyball Challenge... UCLA continues to play on the road with matches at Utah and BYU this week.
USC - The Women of Troy saw their 52-match winning streak come to an end at the hands of No. 16 Illinois in a five-game match at the State Farm Illini Volleyball Classic. It was the second five-game match of the year for USC. In fact, the Women of Troy played in just two five-game matches during their 52-match winning streak... Senior MB Emily Adams was named to the all-tournament team after posting 24 kills (including 20 in the championship match against the Illini) nine blocks and a .639 hitting percentage on the weekend.
WASHINGTON - The Huskies have won 21 consecutive regular-season non-conference matches dating back to the 2002 season. The streak started with a three-game sweep over North Texas on September 13... Like UCLA, the Huskies continue to play on the road this season. After participating in the Northwest Challenge at Boise State this weekend, the Huskies open Pac-10 play on the road. Washington's first home match of the year is scheduled against Oregon on October 1... Freshman OH Christal Morrison was named to the all-tournament team at the Wichita State Tournament, setting personal-bests in kills on Sept. 9 (16) and Sept. 11 (20).
WASHINGTON STATE - The Cougars got one in the win column as they snapped their five-match losing streak with a victory over Miami... Sophomore MB Jennifer Todd recorded 26 kills and seven blocks in the victory, while hitting at a .395 clip... Freshman S Nicole Martin collected 137 assists on the weekend... Todd and Sophomore LS/RS Kelly Rosin (3.85 kpg) and were named to the LMU Furama Hotel Invitational All-Tournament Team.
