Women's Golf Tied For 16th After Two Rounds Of NCAA Fall Preview

Sunriver, Ore. - The No. 6 USC women's golf team shot a 21-over-par 305 on Tuesday to move into a tie for 16th after two rounds of the NCAA Fall Preview held at the Meadows Golf Course.

USC has a 36-hole total of 605, 28 strokes behind team leaders Duke and Washington (577). Arizona State is third (579) and Georgia and Oklahoma State are tied for fourth (580).

Junior Irene Cho followed up a first-round 71 with a 74 in the second round. Her 145 ties her for 19th, 11 strokes behind Karin Sjodin of Oklahoma State and Louise Stahle of Arizona State (134).

Also for the Women of Troy, sophomore Catalina Marin is tied for 62nd (152), sophomore Veronica Felibert is tied for 74th (154), junior Seiko Onoue is tied for 80th (155) and freshman Jackie Desmond is tied for 92nd (160).

Both the second and third rounds were delayed by frost. Round three is underway on Wednesday.
