THIS WEEK: The Oregon State women's soccer team is on the road this week taking on San Francisco Friday at 5 p.m. and Loyola Marymount Sunday at 12 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY WITH SAN FRANCISCO: The Beavers have only played USF twice in the past ten years. OSU beat USF 4-2 at San Francisco in 1993 and again 3-1 in 2003 at Lorenz Field in Corvallis. San Francisco ended their 2004 season 5-14-0, and are 3-2-2 so far this year.

SERIES HISTORY WITH LOYOLA MARYMOUNT: OSU has only played the Lions once, beating them 2-0 in 2001 at LMU. LMU finished last season 9-8-3, and are currently 5-3-0 for their 2004 season.

STATISTICAL STANDOUT: Freshman forward Jodie Taylor continues on track to break Val Williams points record of 47, scoring her eighth goal in seven games of the season against No. 6 Portland.

OSU GAME HIGHLIGHTS VS. PORTLAND: OSU fell to No. 6 Portland last Friday evening at Lorenz Field, handing them their second loss of the season. OSU freshman Jodie Taylor scored off an assit from Tessa Baker in the eightieth minute of the game, marking the only goal for OSU. Despite outshooting UP 10-3 during the second half, the Beavers were unable to get the win bringing their record to 5-2-0 on the year.
