Women's Golf Heads to Sahalee CC for the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational

PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State women's golf team is headed to Redmond, Wash., Oct. 4-6, for the 2004 Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational hosted by the University of Washington.

The 54-hole, three-day tournament will be played at the Sahalee Golf and Country Club, with 18 holes being played each day.

Sahalee played host to the PGA Championship in 1998 and the NEC World Golf Championship in 2002. The course will be playing host to the PGA Championship once again in 2010.

The Cougars' Ana Kostina is coming off two top-10 finishes. She finished tied for sixth at the Notre Dame Invitational and eighth at the NCAA Fall Preview in Sept.

Kim Welch finished tied for fourth at the 2003 Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational.
