Eide Leads Beavers At Sahalee

The Oregon State women's golf team finished the first round of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational Monday at the par-72 Sahalee Golf and Country Club with a team total of 334. The Beavers are in 13th place with two rounds to play.
Sophomore Lindsay Eide led the team with a 79 after fog delayed the opening round for 90 minutes. Lindsay had one birdie on the day but was unable to recover from six bogies and a double bogey on the first hole.She is tied for 38th.
Oklahoma State holds the overall lead after one round with an 8-over 296. Pepperdine and Oregon are two and four strokes behind, respectively.
Oklahoma State's Karin Sjodin carded the only individual round under par Monday with a 2-under 70 and leads Oregon's Johnna Nealy and Stanford's
Jenni Tangtiphaiboontana by three strokes.
Freshman Jessi Gebhardt finished with an 87 and is in 67th and senior
Kelly Kerkvliet is tied for 69th with a 90.
The second round begins Tuesday morning at 10:15 PST.
