Desmon Farmer And Jerry Dupree Sign NBA Free Agent Contracts

The Indiana Pacers have signed former USC basketball player Desmon Farmer, the squad announced this week.

Jerry Dupree, another former Trojan hoopster, was signed by the Los Angeles Lakers.

Both signed free agent contracts with undisclosed terms.

Farmer, a 6-4 guard, led USC in scoring last season, averaging 19.4 points per game while making the All-Pac-10 first team. Farmer will be one of three challengers to the starting shooting guard spot currently held by Reggie Miller.

Dupree, a 6-7 forward spent last season playing for the Long Beach Jam of the American Basketball Association. He finished the season averaging 7.2 points and 3.2 rebounds. He averaged 5 points and 3.4 rebounds per game for USC in 2002-2004.
