Women's Golf Moves Up To Third At Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational

Sammamish, Wash. - The No. 6 USC women's golf team shot a 12-over 301 on Tuesday to move into third place in the team race after two rounds of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational held at Sahalee Country Club.

USC (605) trails Oklahoma State (2597) by eight strokes for the team lead, while Oregon is second at 604. Pepperdine (614) is fourth and Washington State (615) is fifth.

Sophomore Catalina Marin leads the Women of Troy after she shot a 72 in the second round. Her 36-hole total of 147 puts her in a tie for fifth.Karin Sodjin of Oklahoma State continues to lead at 143.

Also for USC, sophomore Veronica Felibert is tied for 10th (150), junior Irene Cho is tied for 15th (152), junior Seiko Onoue is tied for 32nd (157) and junior Tanya Dergal is tied for 34th (158).

The tournament concludes with round three on Wednesday.
