LOS ANGELES - Freshman forward Stephanie Wieger scored a golden goal in the second overtime period to lift No. 15 California to a 1-0 victory over No. 6 UCLA Sunday afternoon at Drake Stadium. The Golden Bears improved to 9-4-2 overall (2-2-1 Pac-10) after snapping a five-game losing streak to the defending Pac-10 champion Bruins. UCLA dropped to 11-5 (4-2).

Wieger, who came off the bench, posted the game's only goal in the 105th minute with a seven-yard unassisted shot from the right side. Wieger also tallied the game-winning goal last Sunday in Cal's 1-0 triumph over No. 24 Arizona.
