New UW Basketball Ticket Package Goes on Sale Monday

Oct. 28, 2004

Seattle - Monday the Washington athletic ticket office will offer two limited five-game ticket packages for fans hoping to catch the Huskies live this year at Bank of America Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion. The availability of the packages will be based on the number of season tickets left unsold by midnight Sunday.

Currently, just under 300 season tickets remain on sale to the general public for $270. Starting at midnight Sunday, seats not held for season tickets will be sold as two special five-game packages. Both packages will be available for $90. Due to the limited amount of tickets available, fans will be limited to purchasing just four packages.

The Purple package will include tickets for Washington's home games with Seattle Pacific (Nov. 19), San Diego State (Dec. 7), North Carolina State (Dec. 19), Oregon (Jan. 13) and UCLA (Feb. 5). The Gold packages will feature Eastern Washington (Dec. 5), Sacred Heart (Dec. 22), Stanford (Jan. 2), Washington State (Jan. 23) and Arizona (Feb. 26).

Fans can order tickets online at starting at midnight Sunday, or call or purchase in person through the Husky Ticket Office. The Husky ticket office will open at 8:30 a.m. Monday. The telephone number to order tickets is 206-543-2200.

Standard five-game ticket packages for $50 remain on sale that allow fans to create their own bundle of games. However, the North Carolina State, Arizona, Oregon, UCLA, Stanford, and Washington State tickets are no longer available for selection.

Single-game tickets will also go on sale Monday. No single-game tickets are expected to be available for North Carolina State, Arizona, Oregon, UCLA, Stanford, and Washington State except for singles.
