Prugh Jumps to 24th in Golfweek Poll

Seattle - The Washington men's golf team is ranked 27th in the latest Golfweek Collegiate Standings. The Huskies are 21st in the Golf Coaches Association of America standings.

Husky sophomore Alex Prugh is ranked 24th in Golfweek's individual standings. Prugh leads the team with a 71.82 stroke average. He has finished in the top-three in three of four tournaments this year and is coming off a second-place showing at the Big Ten/Pac-10 Challenge, his best finish as a collegiate. He was 52nd in the Golfweek standings before the Big Ten/Pac-10 Challenge.

Washington will participate in the National Collegiate Match Play championship in Orlando Nov. 14-16.
