Men's Tennis Plays Well at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic

TEMPE, Ariz. -- All six Arizona State men's tennis players breezed through the first two rounds of singles play without dropping a set to advance to Thursday's Round of 16 at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Clinton Letcher and Jonathan Kinsella, the tournament's second and third-seeded players respectively, each had a bye in the first round and then went on to straight set wins in the second round. Nick Hegarty, who also went through the first two rounds without much trouble, will face the tournament's top-seeded player in Thursday's Round of 16. Christopher Biro, who won last weekend's Thunderbird Invitational, advanced easily to the Round of 16 while improving his consecutive match-winning streak to five.

The singles Round of 16 begins on Thursday starting at 10:00 a.m. with doubles to follow.
