Women's Golf 11th After Two Rounds Of Las Vegas Collegiate

Las Vegas, Nev. - The USC women's golf team shot a second-round 315 on Tuesday and are now 11th after 36 holes of the Las Vegas Women's Collegiate held at Anthem Country Club.

The Women of Troy have a total score of 618, 30 strokes back of team leader UNLV (588). Texas Tech is second (594), Stanford is third (599), Washington is fourth (600) and UC Irvine is fifth (603).

Sophomore Catalina Marin leads USC, as she followed up a first-round 74 with 75 in the second round to tie for 12th at 149. She's four strokes back of individual leaders Hwanhee Lee of UNLV, Maria Ohlsson of Missouri and Jessica Potter of San Francisco (145).

Also for the Women of Troy, junior Irene Cho is tied for 35th (154), sophomore Veronica Felibert is tied for 49th (156), junior Seiko Onoue is tied for 61st (159) and freshman Jackie Desmond is 80th (164).

The Las Vegas Collegiate wraps up on Wednesday with the third and final round.
