Three Men's Tennis Players Move into the Quarterfinals at the Milwaukee Classic

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Three Arizona State men's tennis players advanced to the singles quarterfinals as they again had their way in the round of 16 at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Thursday. ASU might have had four members make it to the quarters, but teammates Christopher Biro and Daniel Davies ended up playing against one another on their side of the draw with Biro winning, 6-4, 6-4.
In doubles play, two of the three ASU tandems advance to the quarterfinals as well. Top-seeded Colombo and Kinsella had a bye in the round of 32 and then won 8-2 over the duo from Ball State. Davies and Letcher also cruised into the quarters with an 8-1 score over the team from Marquette.
The singles quarterfinals will begin on Friday at 10:00 a.m. with doubles to follow.
