Los Angeles, Calif. - Ashlee Rosenthal finished second in the three-meter diving competition on the first day of the Trojan Diving Invitational to highlight the performance of four Stanford women's divers on Friday at McDonald's Stadium on the USC campus. Rosenthal scored 511.00 points to finish just behind winner Qiongjie Huang of Hawaii (519.60) in a close competition.

'I couldn't be higher on Ashlee Rosenthal than I am right now,' said an excited Stanford diving head coach Rick Schavone about his four-time All-American senior. 'This may have been the best she has ever dove in her life.'

Cassidy Krug was next for Stanford with a fourth-place showing (445.70), followed by Erin Lashnits (9th, 412.00) and Katie Lampe (11th, 403.95).

The competition concludes on Saturday with the 1-meter (10:00 am, PST) and platform (2:00 pm, PST) events. Stanford divers will participate only in the 1-meter.
