Soccer Season Ends With 1-0 Double Overtime Loss To Oregon State

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Arizona State soccer team's (8-9-2; 4-3-2 Pac-10) season came to an unfortunate and heartbreaking end on Sunday as Oregon State (10-9-1; 4-4-1 Pac-10) tallied a 1-0 win with just over one minute left in double overtime in Corvallis, Oregon.

OSU's Jodie Taylor posted the game-winner at 108:59 when she received a cross from Stacey Mescher and dribbled past an ASU's defender to net the shot.

ASU looked in control the game for the most part outshooting the Beavers 22-10, including 14-1 in the second half. ASU goalkeeper Kim Bingham made just one save in the first half, while OSU's Melissa Onstad tallied seven saves, five coming in the second half.

Brittany Cooper recorded a team-high eight shots and Manya Makoski had six. ASU also held an 8-5 advantage in corner kicks.
