Nov. 8, 2004

Sophomore tailback Reggie Bush was named the Pac-10 Football Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance at Oregon State.

Bush made a big special teams play in USC's 28-20 win as he returned a punt for a touchdown for the second consecutive week. Bush returned a fourth-quarter punt 65 yards for what proved to be the winning touchdown. He had a total of 155 yards on six kick returns--73 on three punt returns and 82 on three kickoff returns.

It marked the second time this year Bush picked up Pac-10 player of the week honors. He was the league's offensive player of the week for the Virginia Tech opener.

Also honored by the Pac-10 this week were Arizona State quarterback Andrew Walter and Washington State running back Jerome Harrison (offense) and Arizona cornerback Wilrey Fontenot (defense).
