Men's Golf Signs Daniel Lim To Letter Of Intent

Stanford, Calif. - The Stanford men's golf team has signed Daniel Lim to study and compete for the Cardinal in 2005-06 announced head coach Conrad Ray.

'Daniel will be a huge addition to the Cardinal Golf Team in 2005,' said Ray. 'He has tremendous physical qualities as well as strong leadership skills and character. We are excited to sign one of the country's most highly sought after recruits in our own backyard. Daniel Lim will have an immediate impact and have many successful years as a student athlete at Stanford.'

Daniel, a 5-7 golfer from Cupertino, Calif., currently attends Bellarmine Preparatory in San Jose. He was a 2004 Rolex Junior All-American as well as a member of the 2004 Canon Cup West Team. Lim Bellarmine was tabbed Prep Varsity Golf Team MVP in 2003 and 2004 as well as a San Jose Mercury News First Team Golf selection in 2004. He won the '04 AJGA, Las Vegas Founders, AJGA, 2003 IRI Arizona National and the PGA Junior Series, Genoa Lake, Nev, in 2002. Lim was ranked ninthth in Nation Junior Golf Scoreboard (11/7/04). He has posted seven top-10 finishes in the AJGA and ten top-15 finishes.
