UCLA Men's Track And Field National-Letter-of-Intent (NLI)

On Wednesday, UCLA head coach Art Venegas announced sprinter Alexander Pearlstone, who lives in San Anselmo, CA and attends Sir Francis Drake HS, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend UCLA. He will be an incoming freshman next fall.

A talented student and one of the top returning sprinters in the State, Pearlstone at the 2004 CA State meet placed fifth in the 200m (21.62) and 10th in the 100m (10.70). He is expected to be a finalist in both events this spring at the upcoming 2005 CA State Championships.

Pearlstone is the second UCLA men's track & field National Letter of Intent. Earlier, the Bruins announced the signing of Kevin Craddock, hurdler from James Logan HS who lives in San Pablo, CA, considered to be the nation's No. 1 high school track & field prospect.
