Beavers Place Three On All-Pac-10 Team

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State sophomore forward Robbie Findley and junior forward Ryan Johnson were named to the first team when the All-Pacific-10 men's soccer selections were announced Thursday. OSU freshman midfielder Alex Christensen earned honorable mention.

It was the second All-Pacific-10 honor for both Findley and Johnson; both were named to the second team last season. The Beavers finished 8-10-1 overall and 2-6-0 in the Pac-10, but finished on a three-game winning streak that saw them beat both conference champion No. 7 UCLA and No. 9 Washington.

Findley (Phoenix, Ariz./Shadow Mountain HS) had a team-high eight goals this season, tying him for second in the conference in that category. His 19 points were also a team-high and tied for third in the conference scoring race.

Johnson (Boston, Mass./Melrose HS) had five goals, tying him for eighth in the Pac-10 in that category. His 13 points tied for 10th in the conference scoring race.

Christensen (Las Vegas, Nev./Chaparral HS) had one assist for the Beavers.
