Swimming To Host 56th Annual Husky Invitational

SEATTLE--The Washington swimming teams will host the 56th Annual Husky Invitational December 2-5 at the Weyerhauser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way.

The meet will include 480 swimmers representing 56 different club and college teams, including conference foes UCLA. The meet will also feature numerous collegiate programs from the Northwest headlined by Willamette, Whitworth and Puget Sound.

The meet will be formatted like the NCAA Championships with the 1000 freestyle event taking place on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. Competition over the next three days will include the preliminary races at 8:30 a.m. Event finals will began at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Team Championships will be awarded in college and club divisions as well as Individual High Point Awards for the top male and female swimmer.
