Game Times Change for Sacramento State, UCLA

Dec. 15, 2004

Corvallis - Two upcoming Oregon State men's basketball games have been moved to earlier start times. The Dec. 28 Sacramento State game will now tip off at 5 p.m., and the Dec. 31 UCLA game will begin at 3:05 p.m.

The Sacramento State game has been changed as a result of the Oregon State football team being selected for the Insight Bowl, which will be played that same night. The football game kicks off in Phoenix at 6:52 p.m. PST. The basketball game was originally scheduled to start in Gill Coliseum at 7:05 p.m., but has been changed to create less of an overlap between the two games.

Fans attending the Sacramento State basketball game are welcome to stay in Gill Coliseum to watch the bowl game, as big-screen televisions will be brought in for a viewing party. Only those with a ticket to the Sacramento State game will be allowed in.

The UCLA game will be moved an hour earlier, from its original time of 4:05 p.m., to give fans more time afterward for their New Year's Eve festivities.
