BUFFS, HUSKIES BATTLE IN SEATTLE

QUICKLY...The University of Colorado (4-4, 0-0 Big 12 Conference) travels to play the University of Washington (4-5, 0-0 Pac 10 Conference) on Tuesday, Dec. 21, at 9 p.m. MST at the Bank of America Arena in Seattle. Tuesday's game will be aired live on Fox Sports Net with Cara Capuano calling the play by play and Elise Woodward giving the color commentary.

BUFFS ON THE AIR...All Colorado women's basketball regular and post season games are broadcast live on KKZN AM 760, Boulder's Progressive Talk station. Tim Smile will handle play by play duties and is joined by USA Basketball's Carol Callan with the color commentary.

31ST SEASON...Colorado is in the early stages of its 31st season of varsity women's basketball with an all-time record of 581-317 (.647). The Buffaloes have made 12 NCAA Tournament appearances, all since 1988, including six Sweet 16 appearances and three trips to the Elite Eight (1993, 1995 & 2002).

BUFFS LOOKING UP...Colorado has won its last two since enduring a three-game losing streak to reach the .500 mark at 4-4. Sophomore forward Anna Nedovic leads a balanced CU scoring attack at 12.3 points per contest. Nedovic, who also posts a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game, is one of six Buffs averaging at least seven points per game. Freshman forward Jackie McFarland is at 9.6 points an outing, leads the team in free-throw percentage (21x24, .875) and is third in rebounds (5.0 rpg). Classmate Kara Richards rounds out CU's front court averaging 8.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and a team-best 1.25 blocks per game. Junior shooting guard Whitney Law is fourth on the squad in the scoring column (8.8 ppg) and leads the team and Big 12, in 3-point field-goal percentage as she has hit nine of her first 14 shots (.643). Senior point guard Veronica Johns-Richardson is averaging 8.6 points per contest and paces the Buffaloes in steals (19) and assists (23).
