USC Falls To No. 23 UCLA

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Noelle Quinn had 16 points and nine rebounds to help No.23 UCLA beat USC 62-61 on Tuesday night in the Pac-10 opener for both teams.

Nikki Blue had 15 points and seven rebounds for the Bruins (7-3), LisaWillis added 13 and Lindsey Plummer scored 12 before fouling out.

Camille LeNoir and Eshaya Murphy led USC (6-4) with 13 points apiece.

USC trailed by just two at halftime despite making just nine of 32 shots.

UCLA shot 46 percent (12-for-26) in the first half and finished at 39.3percent.
