Sun Devil Spring Coaching Clinic To Be Held In Early April

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona State University football program, along with the Sun Angel Foundation, is hosting the Sun Devil Spring Coaching Clinic April 1-2, 2005. Various activities and speakers are planned for the clinic that will take place at multiple locations on campus.

The coaching clinic is a two-day session that provides an inside look into Sun Devil football and the ASU coaching staff. The first session on Friday, April 1, runs from 4:00-10:30 p.m. with registration starting at 2:45 p.m. at the football practice fields located at the intersection of Rural and 6th Street. Events for Saturday, April 2, begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m.

Highlights of this year's Sun Devil Coaching Clinic is a Defensive Chalk Talk with Bill Miller, who was recently hired as ASU's Defensive Coordinator. Miller, a 27-year veteran coach, has been Associate Head Coach at Florida and Defensive Coordinator at Miami (Fla.), Michigan State and Oklahoma State. Saturday's session will feature four guest speakers who will be announced at a later date.

The cost of the Sun Devil Spring Coaching Clinic is $50 if registered in advance or $60 if registered on site. For reservations, mail the Coaching Clinic Registration Form (pdf) to the Arizona State University football office, Carson Center, ASU, Tempe, AZ 85287.
