TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State University soccer players Manya Makoski and Stephanie Ebner have been selected to the Soccer Buzz Magazine All-West Region team, announced by the publication. Makoski garnered first-team honors as a midfielder while Ebner earned third-team acclaim as a defender.

Makoski makes her first appearance on the first team and second career selection to the Soccer Buzz All-Region team (second-team as a freshman, as well as a member of the All-Freshman team). Earlier, Makoski made her first appearance on the 2004 All-Pac-10 first-team after earning second-team honors the previous two seasons. Maksoki, who just ended her junior season, played and started in all 19 games, finishing tied for the team high in goals (6). She also led the team in shots (53), game-winning goals (3) and finished second in points (14).

This is Ebner's second straight selection to the Soccer Buzz All-Region third-team. She was also a member of the Soccer Buzz All-Freshman team. Additionally, Ebner made her second appearance on the 2004 All-Pac-10 second-team after receiving the same honor as a sophomore. She played and started in all 19 games and was one of the Sun Devils main forces in the midfield and defense. Ebner finished her junior year with three assists for three points on 13 shots.

Arizona State has now received 16 different honors from Soccer Buzz since the 1998 season.
