Boulder Cable To Rebroadcast Barry's Home Finale

            BOULDER - Ceal Barry's final home game as coach of the University of Colorado women's basketball team was a success Wednesday night as the Buffaloes defeated Nebraska, and fans will have a second chance to enjoy it.

            Boulder Cable will replay the game and entire postgame celebration and tribute to both the CU graduating seniors and Barry this Friday, March 4, at 7:00 p.m. on its channel 63.

The entire 3-plus hour event will be broadcast, as the production was a joint effort between the CU School of Journalism and the athletic department.  Colorado led most of the game and held off a fierce Nebraska rally in defeating the Cornhuskers 78-76, the 20th straight win at home for the Buffs over their conference rival.

            Barry is retiring after 22 seasons as CU's head coach, a span that includes 427 wins in 668 games, both CU coaching records for all sports.  Her final record of her teams at home was 237-77, a 75.5 winning percentage.
