Stanford-Pacific Rained Out Game Moved Back Another Day To Thursday, March 24

Stanford, Calif. - The rained out game originally scheduled for last Saturday between No. 12 Stanford (12-7) and Pacific (10-14) has been moved back one more day and is now scheduled to be played at Sunken Diamond this Thursday, March 24 (1 pm, PT). Tickets held for last Saturday's contest will be good for admission Thursday.

Stanford and Pacific did play as scheduled in Stockton on Sunday with the Cardinal winning 9-6 in its first game back after a 13-day break from action. Stanford leads the all-time series between the clubs, 43-5-1 (since 1959).

Stanford is still scheduled to play its other three originally scheduled games this week, beginning with a road contest versus San Jose State (13-8-1) at Municipal Stadium on Tuesday, March 22 (7:00 pm, PT). Stanford is also scheduled to play Sacramento State (7-15) in a two-game home-and-home series Friday-Saturday, March 25-26. The abbreviated set starts at Sunken Diamond on Friday (6:00 pm, PT), before moving to Sacramento on Saturday (2:00 pm, PT).
