No. 15 Trojan Golf Squad Tenth After Two Rounds Of National Invitational

The No. 15 USC men's golf team shot a two-under-par 286 on Monday to improve to tenth place following the second round of the Wal-Mart National Invitational in Tucson.
Sophomore Joshua Wooding shot a two-under-par 70 in the second round to finish tied for 24th with four other golfers. Senior Nico Bollini shot a one-under-par 71 and continues to lead the Trojans as he finished tied for 15th following the first two rounds.
J.J. Killeen of TCU remained atop the leaderboard by one stroke after shooting a three-under-par 69 on Monday. Four players are tied for second with a two-round score of 136.
TCU shot a five-under 283 to finish the first two rounds at 17 under and lead second-place University of Arkansas by one stroke. Texas and Arizona are tied for third at 562.
'The conditions today were challenging because the winds were about 15-20 miles per hour,' said USC coach Kurt Schuette. 'The team played well despite the conditions. If we maintain our focused attitude and improve on some difficult holes, I am confident we'll climb up the leader board tomorrow.'
