Baseball Coaches Clinics to be Held at Battle Ground and Naches

PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Washington State University baseball coaching staff will be conducting coaching clinics this April in Southwest Washington and in the Yakima Valley.

Saturday, April 16, the Cougar coaching staff will hold a clinic at Battle Ground High School followed by a clinic Sunday, April 17, at Naches Valley Middle School. Each clinic will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. with coaches receiving four clock-hours from the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association.

The clinics will focus on infield and outfield fielding, hitting, pitching, catching, base running, as well as planning practices. The seminars will be held in a strictly lecture format, with no physical participation by coaches or players in attendance. Materials covered in the clinics will be provided in pamphlet form to all attendees.

The registration fee for each clinic is $30 per person. Registration is available online at on the Washington State University Baseball page. The last day to register is Thursday, April 14. For additional information, contact Duggan Moran at 509-335-8014.
