James Otuhiva Joins Football Program

Corvallis, Ore. - James Otuhiva (O-two-HEEVA) of City College of San Francisco has signed a National Letter of Intent to play football at Oregon State University, Beaver head coach Mike Riley announced Wednesday. Otuhiva is a 6-5 265-pound tight end.

Otuhiva helped CCSF finish No. 3 in the final JUCO Football Network national poll with an 11-1 record. CCSF lost in the California State Championship game to the College of Canyons.

Otuhiva joins his CCSF teammate Edorian McCullough (DB) as two of the newcomers on the Oregon State roster. Current Beaver receivers Marcel Love and Kevin Swanigan also played at CCSF.

The South San Francisco High School graduate will arrive on campus at the end of spring term.
