Friday's Baseball Game Against California Rained Out

BERKELEY, Calif. ( -- Arizona State's scheduled Pac-10 baseball contest with the California Golden Bears on Friday has been postponed due to heavy rains and wet field conditions in the Bay Area. A doubleheader has been scheduled to start at noon on Saturday at Evans Diamond.

Arizona State (21-13, 2-1 Pac-10) and California (21-12, 3-3 Pac-10) will conclude the three-game conference series Sunday at 1 p.m. Good weather is expected in the Berkeley area over the next two days.

Both games of Saturday's scheduled doubleheader will still be broadcast in the Phoenix area on KDUS 1060 AM with Tim Healey and Bob Eger calling all the action from the Evans Diamond press box.
