April 18, 2005

COMING UP: The Stanford men's tennis team closes out a season-high five match home stand with the season's final regular season dual contest against Santa Clara. Following Tuesday's contest, Stanford will head to the Pac-10 Individual Championships in Ojai, CA. Senior Sam Warburg is the defending Pac-10 singles champion.

CARDINAL NOTES: Senior Sam Warburg continued to make his final season on The Farm a memorable one, knocking off a pair of highly ranked opponents last week. Junior KC Corkery has won his last eight singles contests, with six of those victories coming against nationally ranked opponents. Corkery is 19-3 in dual matches so far this season ... SCOUTING THE BRONCOS: Santa Clara enters the week with a 12-9 overall record after posting a pair of wins at home last weekend.
