Women's Rowing Heads to Princeton For Final Regular Season Regatta

Los Angeles, Calif.- The No.12 USC women's rowing team will travel to Princeton to take on the first ranked Tigers, No. 10 Virginia and unranked George Washington on Saturday, April 30.

USC is looking for a strong performance at Lake Carnegie, hoping to be well-prepared for the upcoming Pac-10 (May 15) and NCAA Championships (May 27-29) to be held on Lake Natoma in Sacramento.

Leading the Women of Troy in the Varsity Eight are: (cox) Kathryn Weslow, (stroke) Simone Manhold, Barbora Varekova, Ligita Kaviere, Dunja Pejcic, Anna Efremova, Diana Ivanova, Laura McDaniel, Tatiana Boldyreva.The Varsity Four will be headed by: (cox) Liz Zenon, (stroke) Kinga Marciszewska, Anne Molholm, Phebe Greenwood, Shelley Koskovich.

Commanding the JV Eight will be: (cox) Elizabeth O'Neill, (stroke) Brittany Mohr, Megan Biging, Natalie Beglau, Kate Donovan, Sarah Pomeroy, Jessica Smith, Kate Kaso, Lauren Derby.

Last Time Out
Two weeks ago, the Women Of Troy swept Minnesota but fell to fourth-ranked Ohio State while competing in 50-degree weather at the Griggs Reservoir on the Scioto River in Columbus, Ohio.
