2005 Men's Soccer Schedule Released

The UCLA men's soccer team will face a challenging schedule in 2005, playing against nine teams that qualified for the NCAA Tournament in 2004, including two of the four College Cup teams. The Bruins will match up against five NCAA Tournament teams in their first five games, including the home opener on Sept. 4 against NCAA semifinalist Maryland.

Other tournament teams UCLA will meet are Santa Clara in the season opener at Fullerton on Sept. 2, Loyola Marymount on the road on Sept. 11, Penn State and Ohio State at the Penn State Tournament on Sept. 16 and 18, California on Sept. 30 at home and on Nov. 6 on the road, Washington on Oct. 7 in Seattle and Oct. 30 at home, Cal State Northridge on the road on Oct. 14, and NCAA runner-up UC Santa Barbara at home on Oct. 20.

In addition, the Bruins will meet defending NCAA champion Indiana in an exhibition game on Aug. 19 in Fort Wayne, IN.
