Twenty-four Cougars Earn Pac-10 All-Academic Rowing Honors

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - The Washington State University women's rowing program placed a combined 24 student-athletes on the Pacific-10 Conference All-Academic Rowing Team, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced, Thursday.
The 24 WSU student-athletes recognized were the most selections on the team from any Pac-10 school. In addition, WSU had the most representatives on the first team with 10 honorees.
Another nine Cougars earned honorable mention honors. They include: Amy Antisdel, Jessica Bills, Emily Collins, Lexie Conley, Jennifer Copeland, Jacki Hedlund, Sarah Lende, Lori Maricle and Sarah Waterfield.
WSU's Charlie Remington garnered first team honors on the men's side.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average and either be a starter or significant substitute.
