Panzeri Wins Idaho Men's Amateur

Seattle - Washington sophomore Joe Panzeri used a final-round score of 67 to win the Idaho Men's Amateur Golf Championship by three strokes. A native of Boise, Panzeri had rounds of 71, 69 and 67 at the Canyon Springs Golf Club in Twin Falls.

Several members of the Husky team will be in action this week. Senior James Lepp will attempt to win his fourth consecutive British Columbia Amateur. This year's tournament will be held at Gorge Vale Golf Club July 12-15. Sophomore Sterling Clark will be competing at the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship July 11-16 at Shaker Run Golf Club in Lebanon, Ohio.
