Lepp Builds Five Stroke Lead at BC Amateur

Seattle - Husky senior James Lepp shot 6-under 66 for the second straight day to build a five shot lead at the British Columbia Amateur Championship at the Gorge Vale Golf Club. Lepp's 36-hole total of 12-under 132 is five strokes ahead of James Allenby, who led after the first round following a 64.

Lepp, the 2005 NCAA Champion, has won the tournament the past three years. The 72-hole tournament runs through Friday. The top four finishers from the event will represent British Columbia at the 2005 Canadian Amateur Championship, August 13th-15th at Bell Bay Golf Club in Baddeck, Nova Scotia.
