UCLA golfers competed in several tournaments around the country over the past few weeks with solid results.

At the 12th Annual Sahalee Players Championship at the Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, WA, five UCLA players finished among the Top 30 individuals. Sophomore Daniel Im tied for seventh at 296 (+8), followed by junior Chris Heintz, who tied for 11th at 299 (+11). Incoming freshman Erik Flores tied for 13th at 300 (+12) and sophomore Kevin Chappell tied for 18th at 302 (+14). Sophomore Craig Leslie tied for 26th at 304 (+16).

At the U.S. Amateur Publinks event in Lebanon, OH, Im tied for 76th in the stroke play competition and did not advance to the match play draw.

Former Bruins John Poucher and Roy Moon each posted Top 10 results. Moon tied for 10th at the Northeast Amateur in Rumford, RI, while Poucher tied for 10th at the Eastern Amateur in Portsmouth, VA.
