Huskies Picked To Finish 10th In Preseason Poll

LOS ANGELES - The Washington football team was predicted to finish 10th in the Pac-10 Conference by a panel of 41 members of the media in a poll conducted today at the annual Pac-10 Football Media Day in Los Angeles.

Two-time defending national champion USC was the unanimous pick to win the Pac-10, earning all 41 first-place votes. Cal was picked a distant second while Arizona State was only four points behind the Bears in third place.

Washington finished last season in 10th place at 1-10 overall and 0-8 in Pac-10 play.
