Three Remaining Bruins Fall at U.S. Women's Amateur

The three remaining golfers expected to enroll at UCLA next month all fell in match play competition at the 105th U.S. Women's Amateur Championship in Roswell, GA at Settindown Golf Course.

Defending champion Jane Park won her morning match 6 and 5 against Kimberly Donovan of Hopkinton, MA before falling in 20 holes to In-Kyung Kim of Korea in the afternoon. Kim sank a five-foot birdie putt to clinch the match and advance to Friday's quarterfinals.

Ryann O'Toole of San Clemente also advanced in her morning match, defeating Jenna Pearson of Wheaton, IL, 2 and 1. In the afternoon match, Allison Whitaker of Australia defeated O'Toole 2 and 1.

Finally, Tiffany Joh lost 2-up to Jenny Suh of Fairfax, VA in the round of 32 Thursday morning.
