Bruins Climb to Fifth after Round Two at Vanderbilt

The top-ranked UCLA women's golf team was in fifth place after the second round of the Mason Rudoloph Championship, hosted by Vanderbilt University at the Legends Golf Club in Franklin, TN.

The Bruins posted a second-round score of 295 (+7) and were in fifth place, trailing Vanderbilt by seven shots. The Commodores, nine-under par after Friday's round, ballooned with a score of 299 (+11) and were tied for first place with Georgia at 578 (+2). Arizona State was third at 579 (+3), followed by fourth-place Duke at 582 (+6) and UCLA.

Individually, freshman Jane Park led the Bruins with a one-under par score of 71. She was tied for 22nd at 148 (+4). Junior Hannah Jun was tied for 13th at 146 (+2) after a 74, and sophomore Amie Cochran was tied for 17th at 147 (+3) after a 75. Freshman Ryann O'Toole was tied for 29th at 149 (+5) and senior Susie Mathews was tied for 39th at 151 (+7).

Vanderbilt's Jacqui Concolino posted her second straight sub-70 round (69) and was leading the field at 137 (-7).
