Cho Leads Women Of Troy's First Round At Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational

Senior Irene Cho is only three shots off the lead as she led USC on the first day of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational at the Sahalee C.C. in Sammamish, Wash.

The No. 16 Women of Troy finished the first day with a combined 312 (+24), in 10th, 18 shots behind leader Pepperdine (294) in a 14-team field.

Cho fired a 75 (+3), knocking down five birdies along the way, to finish tied for 12th. Sophomore Paola Moreno finished with a 78 (+6), tied for 37th, while junior Catalina Marin carded a 79 (+7), tied for 43rd.

Freshman Dewi Schreefel recorded an 80 (+8) and is tied for 48th while junior Veronica Felibert rounded out the Trojans with an 83 (+11), tied for 64th.

The tournament continues Tuesday and Wednesday (Oct. 11-12).
