No. 17 USC Wins Fourth Straight With 3-0 Sweep At Washington State

PULLMAN, Wash. - Senior Staci Venski recorded a team-high 17 kills as the No. 17 USC Women of Troy set a season-high with a .402 (51-10-102) hitting percentage in a 3-0 (30-14, 30-18, 30-14) win at Washington State.

USC (8-6, 4-2) has now won four straight Pac-10 matches while Washington State falls to 8-11 overall and 1-5 in conference play.

The Women of Troy hit .500 in the first game as Venski and freshman Kelli Tennant hit .571 for the match. Senior middle blocker Bibiana Candelas added 14 kills while sophomore outside hitter Diane Copenhagen had seven kills after missing the last two matches with a sprained ankle.

USC travels to No. 2 Washington tomorrow as Husky fans will attempt to 'Pack The Arena.' Washington will look to break its single-match attendance record of 5,712, set last season, with a special promotion for Friday night's match.
