Stanford University Athletic Department Hold Auditions For Anthem Singers And Half-Time Performers

Oct. 18, 2005

Stanford, Calif. - Stanford University athletic department is looking for new champions - not on the court, but off the court through our first talent audition.

With the overwhelming amount of talent in the Bay area we have decided to give everyone an opportunity to audition in order to perform at a basketball game. Singers and performers will audition on Tuesday, October 25 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Stanford's campus at Maples Pavilion.

Performers will be asked to come prepared to either sing the anthem a cappella or bring their own instrument to play and sing. For half time performers, we ask that you bring all props and music needed. Please keep your performance to a maximum of six minutes. Those selected to perform will be assigned a date and provided a ticket to attend the sold out game.

If you are unable to attend the audition and are still interested in performing, please send a recorded performance (email, cassette, CD, DVD, VHS only) along with a completed application by October 27.

Don't miss your chance to perform in font of a sold out crowd. Please complete attached application.
