Men's Golf Travels East For Isleworth-UCF Invitational

Stanford, Calif. - The Stanford men's golf team is back in action this weekend at the Second Annual Isleworth-UCF Collegiate Invitational, October 23-25, at the Isleworth Country Club in Windermere, Fla. The par 72, 7,426 yard course will host 18 teams incluidng 13 of the top 20 squads in the country. The teams will play 18 holes each day for a total of 54. Live scoring will be provided at

The field includes: host-UCF, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma State, UNLV, Duke, New Mexico, Vanderbilt, Clemson, Kentucky, UCLA, Arizona State, Wake Forest, Augusta State, Stanford, South Carolina, USC and Toledo.

Stanford will be paired with Augusta State and UNLV on the first day from the 10th tee with tee times starting at 8:04 a.m.

Stanford head coach Conrad Ray has announced the following lineup for the tournament: Rob Grube, Matt Savage, Zack Miller, Kyle Gentry, Scott MacDonald.

Last year, Georgia won the event with a one-under par 863 (287-290-286) while Oklahoma State's Pablo Martin and Georgia's Chris Kirk were co-medalists at seven-under par 209.

The Cardinal finished seventh at The Prestige earlier this month while sophomore Rob Grube led the team with a sixth place finish individually. Grube has finished in the top 10 individually in all three tournaments he has competed in this year.
