Trojans Advance Two Doubles Pairs to Round of 16 at the ITA West Regionals

USC men's tennis has advanced two doubles teams to the Round of 16 at the ITA West Regionals hosted by Pepperdine. Sophomore Adam Loucks and Junior Garrett Snyder seeded No. 23 in the tournament, defeated Chris Biro and Nick Hegarty of Arizona State 8-3 and will now play Ivor Lovrak and Pedro Rico in the Round of 16 Friday (Oct. 21) at 2 p.m..

Junior Aaron Badart and senior Whit Livingston will take on Christian Groh and Stephan Timu of San Diego State also at 2 p.m. after overcoming Kevin Borzenski and Richard Johnson of Pepperdine on Thursday 8-3.

The Trojans had three players advance to the Round of 16 in singles Thursday although, all three fell in their respective matches. Kaes Van't Hof lost to No. 32 seed Daniel Andrus of Arizona 6-2, 6-2 while Snyder was defeated by Jonathan Kinsella of Arizona State 6-3, 6-4. Loucks fell 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 to Christen Claudio of Arizona.
