Women's Golf Currently in 11th Place

Led by Tiffany Tavee and Alissa Kuczka, the Arizona State University Women's Golf Team placed 11th after the first round of the Stanford/Pepsi Intercollegiate held at the par-71, 6168-yard Stanford Golf Course. The Sun Devils shot a 301 as a team.

Individually, Tiffany Tavee and Alissa Kuczka lead the Sun Devils after carding a two-over 73 to finish tied for 18th place after the first round of the tournament.

Individually Sun Devil Azahara Munoz carded a four-over par 76 to tie for 45th overall. Lindsay Anderson tied for 66th overall after shooting a seven-over 79. Jennifer Osborn shot a ten-over 82 to tie for 87th.

Charmaine Erasmus, who is playing as an individual, shot a two-over 74 to tie for 30th.

The event last year was won by the Sun Devils after carding a 12-over 852, five strokes over second place Pepperdine, who shot an 857.

The Stanford/Pepsi Intercollegiate continues on Saturday October 22 and will conclude on Sunday October 23.
