Women Of Troy In Second Following Second Round of Stanford/ Pepsi Intercollegiate

Stanford, Calif. - The 12th -ranked USC women's golf team shot a 283 in the second round of the Stanford/Pepsi Intercollegiate Saturday at the Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, Calif.
The Trojans posted a two-round score of 576 (+8) to move up two spots from yesterday to second place. USC trails team leader Duke (563) by 13 strokes.
Senior Irene Cho is fourth in the tournament and continues to lead the Trojans after shooting par 71 for the day giving her a three-under 139 for the tournament. Cho is two strokes behind tournament leader Elizabeth Janangelo of Duke (137). Shooting a team-low for the day, Catalina Marin carded a 69 (-2) in the second round and finished tied for 10th with her par 142.
Junior Veronica Felibert shot a one-over 72 in the second round to finish tied for 13th after the first two rounds. Sophomore Dewi-Claire Schreefel is tied for 42nd after shooting a par round of 71 today, giving her 150 (+8) after the first two rounds. Senior Tanya Dergal is tied for 58th after the first two rounds with her 11-over 153.
The final round commences at 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
