Bruins Fourth After Two Rounds in Florida

The 10th-ranked UCLA men's golf team was in fourth place after 36 holes in the Isleworth-UCF Collegiate Invitational, hosted at the Isleworth Country Club in Windemere, FL.

The Bruins posted team scores of 284-297 for a two-round total of 581. Wake Forest was first at 569, followed by Georgia at 570 and Oklahoma State at 577. Georgia Tech and Arizona State were tied for fifth at 584.

Individually for the Bruins, sophomore Kevin Chappell was tied for 17th at 145 after posting rounds of 70-75. Sophomore Brandon Christianson was tied for 23rd at 146 (71-75) and Craig Leslie was tied for 30th at 147 (73-74). Freshman James Lee was tied for 35th at 148 (70-78) and junior Peter Campbell was tied for 51st at 150 (77-73).

Sean Moore of Wake Forest fired a pair of 69s and was the leader in the clubhouse at 138.
